Bengt Anell is Senior Market Access Manager for the Nordics & BeNeLux at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe, bringing more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, research and development, business development, and management consulting. His expertise spans market access, health economics and outcomes research, real-world evidence, payer evidence generation, pricing and reimbursement, value demonstration, and healthcare policy.
Prior to joining Otsuka, Bengt held market access leadership roles at Otsuka Pharma Scandinavia and Shire, alongside working as an independent healthcare consultant focused on payer and pharmaceutical collaboration, evidence generation, and value demonstration. Throughout his career, he has contributed to more than 100 consulting engagements and worked closely with healthcare professionals, academic researchers, patients, and industry stakeholders to translate evidence into meaningful value for healthcare decision-makers.
