Christian Kruse

Principal Data Scientist Novo Nordisk

Christian Kruse is a Principal Data Scientist at Novo within the Computational Real-World Evidence team in ADI Data Science. His work connects real-world data and advanced analytics with questions in pharmaceutical research and development. His interests include integrating clinical, molecular and other data to strengthen disease understanding, characterise patient populations and inform earlier research decisions. At the summit, he will discuss how human health insights can complement preclinical evidence, and how AI, machine learning and emerging agentic approaches can support hypothesis generation and research workflows. His session will focus on practical applications, opportunities and considerations for early drug development.

Combining Real-World Data + AI to Advance Preclinical Research & Early Drug Development
1:30 pm
  • Explore how real-world data and human health insights can be brought into preclinical research to complement traditional animal and laboratory data
  • Examine how integrating real-world, clinical, molecular and other data modalities can support disease understanding, patient segmentation, phenotyping and identification of potential target populations
  • Share practical examples of how AI, machine learning and emerging agentic approaches are being applied to accelerate research workflows, generate hypotheses and support earlier decision-making across the drug development pipeline
