Full Professor of Public Health at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Prof. Mantovani is Director of the Center for Public Health Research, the Public Health Unit at IRCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano, and leads the university’s PhD Program in Public Health Epidemiology, Statistics & Economics. With 30+ years of experience in evaluating the safety, effectiveness, and value of healthcare technologies, he has advised national health authorities, led major global surveillance studies, and published 300+ peer-reviewed papers across top medical journals. A Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, he is internationally recognized for advancing predictive public health, health economics, and evidence-based healthcare planning.
