Stefania Pirondi is Head of Clinical Innovation at Chiesi Group, where she focuses on advancing innovative approaches to clinical development and research. She brings more than 15 years of experience across clinical research, project management, and real-world evidence, with a strong understanding of how effective evidence generation relies on connecting scientific, operational, and cross-functional priorities.
Prior to her current role, Stefania led Chiesi’s Global Clinical Project Management Unit and previously served as the company’s Real World Evidence Program Leader, where she supported the development and delivery of RWE initiatives across the organisation. Earlier in her career, she held clinical research and study management roles at Medidata, gaining hands-on experience in study design, planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and GCP-compliant research. Her combined experience across clinical development and RWE gives her a practical perspective on embedding innovation into evidence generation.
